Back from Fiji

Dear, oh dear, oh dear - the girls have really gone to town on my desk ;-p

There are little paper umbrellas, plastic flowers, colourful strawers - even a towel surrounding a sign saying "Gone to Fiji".

When I told my colleagues I was having a week off - they decided I was going to Fiji (because I never go anywhere) and even gave me a postcard to send them. I haven't mailled it yet - because ideally I think postcards should arrive AFTER the person gets back :)

In other new - went to the computer fair and bought a new motherboard, faster CPU and more memory. Unfortunately the new motherboard doesn't have an AGP slot, but something I hadn't heard of before - a PCI-E (or PCI Express). So I haven't got the computer working yet. I activated a credit card I had lieing around the place that I hadn't needed to use before now - in the hopes of buying a new graphic card. But unfortunately GE cards aren't accepted anywhere, and I don't have the PIN to use it at an ATM. Possibly I could swap my old motherboard for a new graphic card.

Anyone interested in an ASUS motherboard - AGP slot, 5 PCI slots, 3 SDRAM slots (with 512mb memory) and a 1.2gb AMD Athlon CPU?

Update
I swapped it with Daniel at work, along with an old 15" LCD monitor I have for a Radeon X550. Unfortunately it only has 128mb of memory.
However - it will last until I work out better finances and get a really sierra hotel card :)
